Rs. 10.99 cr approved for 4 irrigation schemes

The Chhattisgarh Government has approved an amount of Rs. 10 crores 99 lakh 88 thousand for works under four different irrigation schemes. The completion of the scheme will provide an irrigation facility on 1152 hectares of land. An amount of Rs. 5 crores 41 lakhs 86 thousand has been approved for C.C. lining work in Mungeli district’s Maniyali Reservoir Scheme’s D-3 branch canal to the Ratiapara Minor canal, the restoration of older works, and building work of new projects. The completion of the scheme will provide irrigation facilities to 991 hectares of land.

An amount of Rs. 2 crores 37 lakh 5 thousand has been approved for the Anicut construction work near the village Sambalpur in Tesuvanala under Development block Mungeli. The completion of the project will provide an irrigation facility on 100 hectares of land. An amount of Rs. 1 crore 41 lakh 58 thousand was approved for the restoration work of Ladukhayi Reservoir under Development Block Baramkela in Raigarh district. An irrigation facility on 61 hectares of land will be obtained after the completion of the project. An amount of Rs. 1 crore 79 lakh 39 thousand has been approved for the painting of the Kelo dam gate in the Raigarh development block and works related to changing the rubber seal of the dams.
